1. Agreement to Terms

By booking a session at Amaranth or using our website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before scheduling services. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

These terms constitute a binding agreement between you and Amaranth. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, with changes taking effect upon posting to our website.

2. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions:

• "We," "us," "our" refers to Amaranth, the bodywork practice located in Taichung, Taiwan.
• "You," "guest," "client" refers to the individual booking or receiving services.
• "Services" refers to all bodywork sessions and related offerings provided by Amaranth.
• "Session" refers to a scheduled appointment for bodywork services.
• "Website" refers to our online presence at amaranstaeah.live.

3. Service Description

Amaranth provides Thai bodywork services adapted to individual needs and preferences. We offer three main service solutions: Senior-Friendly Gentle Sessions, Personalized Combination Sessions, and Evening Wind-Down Sessions. Each session is customized based on consultation with the practitioner.

Our services are intended to support wellbeing and relaxation. They are not medical treatments and should not be considered substitutes for professional medical care, diagnosis, or treatment. If you have health concerns, please consult with a qualified healthcare provider.

Session availability, practitioner assignments, and specific techniques used may vary based on scheduling, guest needs, and practitioner expertise.

4. Eligibility and Age Requirements

Our services are intended for adults aged 18 and over. Guests under 18 may receive services only with written parental or guardian consent and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the session.

By booking a session, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have appropriate parental consent, and that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

5. Health Disclosure and Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information about your health status, including any medical conditions, injuries, sensitivities, or concerns that may affect how bodywork is provided. This includes but is not limited to:

• • Recent surgeries or injuries
• • Chronic health conditions
• • Areas requiring gentler approach
• • Skin sensitivities or allergies
• • Current medications that may affect treatment
• • Pregnancy or possibility of pregnancy

You are responsible for communicating discomfort or concerns during the session. Our practitioners encourage ongoing communication and will adjust techniques based on your feedback, but they cannot address issues you do not communicate.

If you have any health condition that may be affected by bodywork, we recommend consulting with your healthcare provider before booking a session.

6. Booking and Scheduling

Sessions may be scheduled by phone, email, or through our website contact form. Appointments are confirmed once you receive acknowledgment from us. We recommend booking in advance, particularly for preferred time slots.

If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations or no-shows may affect your ability to book future appointments.

We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel appointments due to practitioner illness, emergencies, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will make every effort to notify you promptly and offer alternative scheduling options.

7. Payment Terms

Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance. We accept cash and major credit cards. Prices are listed in Taiwan Dollars (TWD) and are subject to change with notice.

Current pricing for our services:

• • Senior-Friendly Gentle Session (45-60 minutes): TWD 1,500
• • Personalized Combination Session (60-120 minutes): TWD 7,000
• • Evening Wind-Down Session (60-75 minutes): TWD 16,000

Sessions must be paid for even if you arrive late or leave early. The practitioner will do their best to accommodate the remaining time, but the full session fee still applies.

8. Conduct and Expectations

We maintain a professional environment and expect all guests to conduct themselves appropriately. This includes:

• • Arriving on time or notifying us if you will be late
• • Treating practitioners and staff with respect
• • Following hygiene standards (arriving clean)
• • Refraining from inappropriate behavior or comments
• • Not being under the influence of alcohol or drugs

We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate a session if a guest behaves inappropriately. In such cases, full payment is still required and no refund will be provided.

9. Limitations of Liability

While we take care to provide quality bodywork services, you acknowledge that results may vary and that bodywork carries inherent risks. To the extent permitted by law, Amaranth and its practitioners shall not be liable for:

• • Injury or discomfort resulting from undisclosed health conditions
• • Issues that arise when you do not communicate discomfort during the session
• • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• • Results or outcomes that do not meet your expectations

Our total liability for any claim arising from services provided shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific session in question.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Amaranth and is protected by Taiwan and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

The Amaranth name and logo are proprietary marks. Use of these marks without authorization is prohibited.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of our services and website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using our services, you agree to the terms of our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Taiwan. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Taichung, Taiwan.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.
